Our free of “greens fee” disc golf course here at the Cape May County Park is played much like traditional golf, but instead of a ball and clubs players use a disc, or Frisbee. Also known as Frisbee golf, disc golf is a disc game, in which individual players throw a golf disc from a tee area to a target basket which is the "hole". Traveling through the course from beginning to end in the fewest number of throws of the disc is the object of the game.
The course starts alongside of our front lake with the Anchor being the first tee. The course then winds throughout the Park, with baskets dispersed between our picnic pavilions. The “front nine” ends near the bus parking lot, in the middle of the Park. The “back nine” then starts at our #9 pavilion and plays back through the course ending at the first target basket.
The course is open to play at any time of the day, but for a good “tee time” it’s advised to play our course early in morning or later in the afternoon when there are fewer people in the park.
